T-51's always been my favorite Armor. They should of added in Specific weak-points to power armor and it would of made things more canon. For Example the T-51 PW is fully armored, With nothing vital exposed except the tubes running to the mouth filter. So it would make it the preferred power armor. The T60 basically looks like they took the T45 and wielded on a bunch of more steel. But it's got alot of stuff exposed.

This patch is CUSTOM for a reason; I made some balancing tweaks to the mod so it feels more 'Balanced' but balance being a subjective topic i hope it fulfills your expectations.

Like it's air tanks in the back. So if an enemy is shooting you in the back it does extra damage to the Power armor. I don't think their ONLY found in the Commonwealth, Since pretty much every BOS knight has a suit of T60 armor as soon as they arrive.I just think the suit might of been developed in Boston since there are so many research stations around.Still doesn't make any sense why they wouldn't of been in the commonwealth. Or on the West coast. Because the loading screen for T60 states the PA was 'used extensivly' after the alaskian war ended. Also lets not forget that there is a soldier in Alaska using the T60 armor in the opening movie, which again makes no sense.Just bethesda breaking lore. I guess one of the original brotherhood expeditions to the commonwealth had discovered the Schematics for T60 armor.Still tho, It kind also doesn't make since why they didn't salvage any Enclave armor.

The X-02 armor is likely alot stronger than the t60. If we wanted to come up with a lore reason of why pre war soldiers have T60 while it saying T51 was the most advanced deployed. Its could be like the Case of the M103 Heavy tank. Th M103 heavy tank was only used by the US army up until 1963.However the Marines continued to upgrade the M103 to the M103a2 using parts from the newer M60 MBT. Only getting rid of the M103 series in the 1970s.So the T45 could be the base for both the army and marines. Army replaces the T45 with the T51. US marines instead upgrade the T45 to the T60. Heance the similarities of the T45 and T60.So the T60 could of saw heavy use with the marines but not the Army.

The X-02 armor is likely alot stronger than the t60.It's almost certainly stronger than T-60,X-01 is stronger, and X-02 is stronger than X-01,unless bethesda screwed up that part of the lore too. I actually Don't think the XO-2 is stronger than the XO-1 Honestly. I think it's just more maneuverable and better maintained.

The XO-1 looks alot more heavily armored than the XO-1.Also don't forget before Bethesda changed how Power armor works, XO-1 power armor used to have a mini nuclear reactor on it's back. The nuka world dlc supports this idea. But the mini nuclear reactor would still be gone because of the new way power armor works which is better if you ask me because it feels more like the one man tank power armor is supposed to be and is descriped as in the old game.

  • M60 (Fallout 2) From The Vault - Fallout Wiki. The M60 is a gas-operated, air-cooled, belt-fed, automatic machine gun that fires from the open-bolt position.
  • Search for the 'Jaguar'. Thanks, but i already tried it, i dont like this gun. I noticed a lack of other lmgs on Nexus, but I think that's because most large gun mods focus on weapons that benefit from the heavy perk, so they tend to be alternatives to the minigun and gatling laser.

I want a LMG in Fallout 4 because the only weapon that can use.50 ammo is the a modified sniper rifles (pipe pistols aswell)so I have around 6000 rounds of it, adding a LMG would quickly change that. I absolutely loved the LMG in Fallout:NV. Imagine how good you could mod it! I wouldn't mind if they added it in one of the upcoming DLC's. What do you think?Edit: So alot of people have pointed out that a LMG mostly uses 5.56 or 7.62, my bad.

But I still like the idea of a LMG. Maybe have the 5.56. as the standard ammo or 7.62 if they added that and be able to mod it with a 50 cal reciever. This is basically the assault rifle we already have in the game, but being able to change the reciever to 7.62 or 50 cal would be a nice addon!. 7.62 used to be the Western rifle caliber standard with weapons like the G3 and M14. Then the U.S.

Anyone know of any good shotgun mods? I'm loving Modern Firearms and the other mods like it, but can't find like a realistic shotgun mod anywhere out there. So to hold me over in the meantime, I, using the Keymaster that's with MF, but I'd really like an actual shotgun. Your thoughts and help is appreciated, thanks.

Introduced the M16 and sort-of coerced NATO into agreeing to the 5.56 standard. Technically, both are rifle caliber weapons, which puts them into machingun (vs. Submachinegun) territory. My understanding of the whole LMG vs. HMG varies based on a combination of caliber and usage.

HMG is generally tripod or vehicle mount, with a high caliber at least around.30, but often something like.50 or 12.7. LMG was 'man-portable,' along the lines of the WWII era BAR - what would be classed now as a squad support weapon, I believe (e.g., the M249 SAW). GPMG was coined for weapons like the M60 that was designed to fill multiple roles. So, technically, because it is designed for vehicle mount (PA) and weighs over 20 lbs., the 'assault rifle' in the game is at least a GPMG. Pushing it into a.308 or.50 would definitely make it more HMG territory.

Fallout 4 Nexus M60

The trick would be how the engine would make it only useful with armor or very-high-strength characters, as any normal person trying to fire a.308 on full auto is going to be sending shots into orbit, and you simply cannot fire something like an M2HB while holding it in your hands.Having now paid lip-service to reality, I should also remember and point out that the game let's you carry around what is basically a 19th-century artillery piece and fire cannon balls at things, even without power armor. Another difference between LMG and GPMG is that LMGs use an intermediate cartridge, meaning it is technically a rifle, but didn't have the same powder load as a full power rifle. In fact, most pistols shoot larger caliber rounds with smaller loads. Intermediate rounds are rifle (generally small diameter) bullets with the equivalent of magnum (really big pistol) case loads. This distinction between LMGs and GPMGs can also be applied to assault versus battle rifles, where both are select fire rifles, but the assault rifle fires a smaller round than the full-power battle rifle. Here's a link to the Weapons Law Encyclopedia:The gist of it is that light, medium and heavy is largely defined by the role played by the machine gun.

A machine gun is general purpose if it can play multiple roles based upon the accessories and configuration. That's similar to the guideline I understood.Generally speaking, machine guns tend to use ammunition that is standardized for the armed force using the gun. For NATO countries, that is typically 5.56mm (.223), 7.62mm (.308), and.50 caliber rounds. These are all rifle-type cartridges with heavy powder charges. The Vickers Gun from WWI used the standard.303 cartridge in British service, but was produced for export in local calibers. My understanding is that the term 'intermediate round' simply refers to lighter-caliber rifle rounds, called that because of the perceived (but not necessarily accurate) difference in lethality when compared to the larger 7mm+ battle rifle cartridges.

Lmg Fallout 4

(Note that I don't debate that a.308 round has much better penetration - but that doesn't always translate into lethality.). I think that is the combat rifle, which for some reason is in.45 rather than in 7.62 (or about.303) which is off. I have worked it out myself is the Combat rifle is an assault rifle and the Assault rifle is an LMG.This sort of works based on how the long barrel assault rifle looks like a Lewis Gun with a bottom feed magazine (like off an MG38/42) rather than a top feed drum.I think Bethesda may have had an Uibsoft moment with the weapons teams working in different locations with next to no contact until the beta testing or release dates.
